Our grass fed Suffolk Sheep produce sweet, tender, Baranbali Lamb - our most popular range.
Due to the rarity of offering a Queensland certified Organic Lamb product, and the highly seasonal and customarily lower-yielding nature of raising meat sheep, all our lamb products sell fast. We are currently out of stock until further notice of all lamb products.
Roasts and bone-in steak or cutlets are the most requested cuts, so we aim to stock these foremost, and occasionally Sausages.
We recommend you pre-order or check availability of particular products before Farm Shop or Market Days, as all of our lamb range is limited in quantity.
Product/Farm Shop update
Baranbali Lamb is currently unavailable and will be out of stock from July 2016 until further notice, while we rest our breeding stock and replenish supplies.
We are excited to announce a new product direction in the planning stages for later in 2016/2017 which will see us offering delicious Baranbali hogget for the first time.
'Lamb' meat, by definition, is derived from lambs under one year of age, and hogget is from juvenile sheep older than 12 months. Interestingly, much of the meat badged as 'lamb' in the U.K is typically from sheep over one year of age, and therefore not strictly a lamb product.
